We will be hosting the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) for a virtual panel discussion on 15th July 2020. The event will be streamed online through the BAKE’s Facebook and YouTube accounts.
Last year we hosted the KAM’s first Experience under the hashtag #KAMtalksCEEC regarding issues around sustainability, energy efficiency and green growth.
Thematic areas of discussion will include the Expansion of the Centre for Energy Efficiency and Conservation (CEEC) to the Centre for Green Growth and Climate Change (CGGCC) with focus on Resource Efficiency Servicessuch as energy, water & wastewater audits, waste, and circular economy.
To achieve this, KAM will provide Capacity building training to develop expert industries. The training will be offered under CGGCC and will include energy efficiency program, process optimization program and compliance.
The program will also offer Green Financing to increase implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects among industries. CGGCC will organize expos and awards to recognize and award the best performing industries. This aims at increasing awareness on energy efficiency, sustainability, renewable energy, and circular economy.
The event will be moderated by Samuel Mbugua and will feature a panel consisting of :
